Last week we had our first Live Streaming event of the year! Not far from our office, we ventured to the Milwaukee area to stream to business professionals across Wisconsin who were looking to expand their knowledge and obtain credits for their profession.

You maybe thinking, now I’ve heard of live streaming, but what is it? Well, the best way to describe live streaming is it’s same as watching a news cast live on your tv, but on your computer. We go to a location, set up our video and audio equipment, connect it to our computer, and to the internet. Then the video and audio is uploaded to a website and live online for anyone (well, anyone with username and password) to watch. Companies then (if they would like) can charge people to watch , while customers can watch from the comfort of their office or sofa, without getting out of their pjs.
If you are a business who runs conferences and seminars, you might say something like, “But we want people to come to our event, not watch it from home! How else are we going to make a profit.” Well, Guess what! You can still make a profit from live streaming! And in some cases businesses can make more and save money by live streaming. Plus there are many reasons for people to come to a conference. Focused learning, less interruptions from surroundings, (like disruption by coworkers or the dog at home), and most important, peer to peer communication. Maybe there’s a hot topic that you don’t stream and make people want to go physically go to your conference. It still can be recorded, and like all sessions that are recorded, and you can let your clients watch later.

You may have seen friends use Facebook or youtube live and think, “Hey! I’ll just use my phone or iPad and steam that way.” You can, and that’s fine! But if you want professional quality, ability to use multiple camera angles, add in powerpoint slides as well as other graphics (on the spot!), plus amazing audio, contact us for more information and get a quote today!
